Available for purchase is this simple yet rustic workhorse gyuto. The blade was hand forged from w2 high carbon tool steel and is fit to an ergonomically shaped handle that has been made from bubinga wood and antiqued copper. The blade has a forward balance and being a workhorse knife, has a little more weight to it. The blade has a slight distal taper from the heel to the tip and a convex grind that is thin behind the cutting edge. The handle has been heirloom fit to the bolster and is held together using a marine grade epoxy. This super comfortable knife will make a great addition to your kitchen!
